Rhode Island women's cross country finished 13th out of 22 competing teams at the New England Championship Saturday.
Ashley Evans was the top finisher for Rhody, running a season-best 19:22.8, good for 64th place. Other finishers in the top 100 for Rhode Island were Camille Bertholon in 19:23.7(68th), Becca Durham in 19:27.2 (74th), and Nicole Cassavell in 19:28.7 (75th). Daniella Napoli (20:15.6), Chelsea Lee (20:20.3), and Kaylen Hughes (20:42.9) also competed for the Rams.
Rhody returns to competition on Friday, Oct. 18th in the Brown "Rothenberg" Invitational.
