Renna Wins 100 meter Hurdles

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Rhody women's track & field team competed on Saturday at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University. The day was highlighted by a slew of season or personal best performances. 

The day was also highlighted by senior Emily Renna winning the 100 meter hurdles in a finals time 14.02s, her second fastest time of the year. 

Keiko Hector ran a new personal best in the 100 meter hudle prelims with a time of 14.63s. Karen Lobaton finished in 14.84s and Ashleigh Marks crossed the finish line in 15.54s. 

The 4x100 relay team posted a new season best of 46.88s to claim a third place finish overall in the event. 

Nichole Barger led the Rams in the 1500m run running a time of 4:43.43. Teammates Alyssa Brehler posted a new season best of 4:50.26 and Katherine McNulty crossed the finish line in 4:55.31 in her 1500m run event debut. 

In the 100m run, Briana Robitaille led the way for Rhody with a time of 12.29s. Shellyann Lindo recorded a time of 12.70s. 

Alexandra Carbonell scored a new outdoor personal best in the 800 meter run with a new best time of 2:20.97.
