How It Happened
Sophomore Halah Davis and freshman Sydney Chratian were victorious at No. 3 doubles, but it was the lone win of the day for Rhode Island in a 4-0 loss to George Washington Sunday.

The teams played to clinch. George Washington (7-7, 3-1 Atlantic 10) earned the doubles point by winning at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The Colonials then grabbed wins at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4 singles to bring the match to an end.

Rhode Island (6-6, 1-2 A-10) saw its three-match win streak come to an end.
