How It Happened
Rhode Island (6-6) evened its record by winning for the fourth time in five matches. The Rams swept Sacred Heart (4-8), taking all six singles matches in straight sets.

Junior Tiara Higuchi won her fifth consecutive match, beating Brianne Lauria, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Higuchi has solidified Rhode Island's No. 2 spot, improving to 6-2 in the position.

Freshman Erin Chratian won her team-leading ninth victory with a win at No. 1 singles. Freshman Paulina Loredo (No. 3), sophomore Halah Davis (No. 4), freshman Sydney Chratian (No. 5) and senior Ariel Haber (No. 6) all claimed straight-set wins as Rhody coasted to the victory.
