Rhode Island Narrowly Drops 4-3 Home Match vs. Fordham

How It Happened
Rhode Island narrowly fell, 4-3, at home to Atlantic 10 opponent Fordham.  Both Rhody and Fordham split the #2 and 3 doubles, respectively, before the Bronx Rams earned the point by rallying from behind at the #1 doubles spot.

Rhode Island tied the match after Mihaela Codreanu's straight-set win at #1 singles.  Fordham took a 3-1 lead after winning at #5 and 6.  A win by Rachel Smilansky at #3 singles put URI within one, at 3-2, before Fordham pulled out the victory at #2 singles.
