Rams Head to Vermont for Saturday Meet

Rhode Island will head to Burlington this Saturday, Jan. 19 to face off against the University of Vermont. The meet against the Catamounts will begin at Noon. 

Rhode Island vs. Vermont

  • This weekend will be the 20th all-time meeting between the two teams. The Rams currently hold a 11-8 advantage. 
  • Rhody has lost eight of the last nine meetings. Rhode Island's last win was a 163.50-134.50 victory on Jan. 15, 2014. 
  • Before 2010, the Rams had won the last ten meetings between the two teams. 
  • The Catamounts have lost their last two duel meets against Northeastern and Bryant and are 1-2 at home in the Forbush Natatorium. 

Last Time in the Pool:

  • Rhody had its first loss of the season at Massachusetts last weekend, falling 185-110. 
  • Junior Mackenna Dunn won the 100-yard freestyle.
  • Freshman Zoe Sheridan earned a first-place finish in the 100-yard IM, followed by sophomore teammates Brooke Kelley and Rebecca Younts.
  • Freshman Keely Hemminger finished second in the 200-yard freestyle.
