KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island will stay in the state for another week, as it plays a single game at Bryant Wednesday in Smithfield before returning to the URI Softball Complex for a three-game series this weekend against St. Bonaventure.

The Rams – who have their most victories in seven seasons – are looking to build off a strong weekend in which they won two of three games against George Mason. Rhody is 13-18 overall with 17 games left in the regular season. It is the most wins since 2012, when URI won 21 contests.

Heading into the final month of the season, Rhode Island sits two games out of the final postseason spot in the Atlantic 10 standings. Of Rhody's 14 remaining conference games, nine come against teams in the bottom half of the conference standings.

Series History
vs. Bryant – 12-1
Wednesday will be the second meeting of the season between the in-state rivals. On March 10, Rhode Island scored a 3-0 victory over the Bulldogs at the Charleston Invitational. The Rams are 4-1 all time at Bryant, with the lone loss coming in the last visit, a 5-3 defeat in 2015.

vs. St. Bonaventure – 31-32
The teams have played 63 games in a series that dates back to 1988. The teams have split the last eight games in which they have met at the URI Softball Complex. The last time the Bonnies came to Kingston, Rhody took two of three in 2017.
