vs. Hampton – 1-0
In the only other meeting between the schools, Rhode Island scored a 4-3 victory in eight innings at the 2014 at the UMBC Dawg Pound Invitational. Then freshman Jenna Cubello hit a ground ball to third base, and a throwing error on the play allowed Stacey Fox to score the game-winning run.

vs. Buffalo – 1-1
Rhode Island and Buffalo will play for the first time since 2009, when the Rams were blanked 5-0 at the Rebel Spring Games. The Rams won the first game between the schools, a 7-4 decision at the 2007 USF Speedline Invitational.
