What is your earliest memory or experience playing soccer?
One of my first games when I was little, I remember I was running with my head down. I wasn't paying attention and I ran directly into another player and got a bloody nose. I remember it so distinctively because after that day I never wanted to play soccer again. But here I am!
If you could play any other sport, what would it be?
I would want to try track! I would like to see how good I am at the running and sprint events.
Is there an athlete that has inspired or influenced you the most?
Christen Press. I just love her and I love her work ethic when she gets on the field.
Aside from the necessities, what is one thing you could not go a day without?
My friends! I always need them for support.
What are some of the reasons you like being part of a sports team?
I like the competitiveness. I also like the off the field part of it- we can just have fun with each other and we're all there for each other. As a team, we all get what each other is going through.
If you were stuck on a deserted island, which teammate would you want with you?
Grace [Haggerty] would definitely keep calm in that situation.
What has been your favorite thing about Rhode Island so far?
The beaches, and being so close to the water.
What is your goal for the season?
Keep doing better, keep getting better... I just want to be better every game we play.
The Rams are on the road at Pittsburgh (9/6) before returning to Kingston for the home opener against Sacred Heart on Sept. 8.
