When did you start playing soccer?
I started playing soccer in my town when I was in kindergarten, around five years old.
What does the sport of soccer mean to you?
Soccer is very important to me. I've had three knee surgeries, so soccer has taught me a lot - not only about getting back to the sport, but also in life. Being able to push through every obstacle and all the adversity and get to where you want to be.
What are your goals for after college?
I want to be an elementary school teacher. I'm hoping that after these four years I'll go and get my Masters degree so I can pursue my dream of being a teacher.
If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be?
Definitely somewhere warm. I went to Hawaii when I was younger, so I would love to go back.
What are the reasons you like being part of a sports team?
I like being part of a sports team because you make so many friends. When you meet all these people you develop friendships that go beyond the sports team.
What is your favorite holiday?
Halloween. I love dressing up and being together with my friends.
Is there an athlete that has inspired or influenced you the most?
Cristiano Ronaldo! He came from nothing and he had to work so hard to get to where he is. I think he's a good a role model because he pushed through so much and I think that if he can do all that, then I can get through my injuries and get past it.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?
Any kind of pasta with an Alfredo sauce or Pad Thai.
What has been your favorite thing about Rhode Island so far?
The beach, and how close the beach is. I love going to the beach!
What is your goal for the season?
Make the A-10 tournament!
The Rams are on the road for games at Wagner (9/1) and at Pittsburgh (9/6) before returning to Kingston for the home opener against Sacred Heart on Sept. 8.
