How it Happened
Rhode Island fell to Quinnipiac 1-0 on Wednesday in a rainy battle at the Quinnipiac Soccer & Lacrosse Stadium.

The Rams and the Bobcats were knotted 0-0 after the first half of play. A late second-half penalty kick by Kelsey Goldring found the back of the net and put Quinnipiac up 1-0 with 12 minutes remaining. Rhody was unable to answer as time ran out of regulation.
