Expected High Winds Causes Resolute Cup to be Canceled

KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island's race against Boston College on Saturday has been canceled due to poor weather expected this weekend.

The Rams and BC were set for the annual Resolute Cup challenge Saturday on the Charles River in Boston. However, with high winds of up to 38 miles per hour expected Saturday, the event has been called off.

Rhode Island will have one more competition before it defends its title at the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship. On Sunday, May 5, the Rams will compete in the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
