Gainsville, Fla - The Rhode Island men's track & field team returned to the campus of the University of Florida on Friday to compete in day two of the Pepsi Track & Field Florida Relays.
The day was highlighted by Samuel Snyder's performance in the discus throw. Snyder's best throw of 52.07m (170'10") was good enough to place him third overall.
Other Rhody Highlights
- In the 400m dash, Marlon Montague ran a time of 48.50s and teammate Jared Gray crossed the line in 49.75s.
- The 4x400 relay team clocked a finals time of 3:17.67.
The Rams will return to the track tomorrow morning for the third and final day of competition. Competing for Rhody tomorrow will be Ondrej Honka and Ryan Wilkes (Pole Vault), Samuel Snyder (shot put). Rhode Island will also be competing in the 1600 sprint medley and the 4x200 relay.
