Woodley, Janes, Kusiak Compete at NCAA East Prelims

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Three Rhode Island athletes competed at the NCAA Division I 2012 Outdoor Men's Track and Field East Preliminary, hosted by the University of North Florida.

Junior William Janes finished 24th out of a field of 48 competitors in the hammer throw. Janes best throw was 59.03 meters. Teammate Thaddeus Kusiak finished in 31st place with a best distance of 56.95m.

Senior Ronald Woodley placed 29th out of 48 in the triple jump. Woodley's best mark was 14.91m.

Senior Jacob Keeling is the final Ram left to compete in the East preliminary. He will compete in the shot put on Saturday. Keeling is seeded 15th in the field of 48.
