Setting the Scene

Anthony Davidson and Jacob Keeling all earned Atlantic 10 Conference leading performances during Sunday's meet at Brown.

Rhode Island Results

  • Davidson's winning 400m dash in 48.21 is first in the A-10 conference. Young took third in 49.89 – which is 21st in the A-10 -- and Ben Lakeman placed fifth in 50.34.
  • Jacob Keeling tossed 17.97m in the shot put for second, but his distance is first in the A-10. Andrew Piscitelli threw 14.93m for ninth and Trent Baltzell 13.29m for 18th.
  • Tyler Oliveira won the 200m dash and placed second in the 100m, finishing in 22.29 and 10.84, respectively. His 100m dash is currently ranked seventh in the A-10.
  • Also in the 200m dash were Anthony Davidson (22.41) and Jalen Young (22.51) placing second and third, respectively. Davidson's time is 25th in the A-10. Josh Maloney took 12th (23.50) and Marcus Allen 15th (23.87).
  • Behind Oliveira in the 100m dash was Ronald Woodley in fifth (11.19), with his time standing 21st in the A-10. Also were Josh Maloney in seventh (11.24), Marcus Allen in 16th (11.51), Joseph Sliwoski in 18th (11.59) and Christopher Pfrommer in 24th (12.20).
  • Joseph Marini jumped 6.28m in the long jump, while Pfrommer earned sixth with 5.89m.
  • Rainford Thomas earned second in the triple jump with 13.76m and his reach is 11th in the A-10. Marini placed fourth with 13.40m and Torsten Dworshak took eighth with 11.76m.
  • Piscitelli nabbed eighth in the discus with 47.82m and Baltzell threw 41.86m for 14th.
  • In the 110m hurdles Shaikat Bardhan (14.92) finished third and Joseph Sliwoski (15.34) tied for seventh.
  • In the high jump Matthew Dionne and Rainford Thomas were in a five-way-tie for fourth place, clearing 1.96m.
