KINGSTON, R.I. - Following its impressive performance at the Holy Cross Meet, the University of Rhode Island men's track & field will compete in the 117th Penn Relays Carnival this Friday-Saturday at Franklin Field. Action begins at 9 a.m. each day.
In a tune-up of for this weekend's action, Rhody dominated at Holy Cross on Tuesday afternoon, winning 11 events. The Rams were led by sophomore Wayne Seaton who won both the 110m and 400m hurdles. Senior David Kennedy also claimed two events as he won the 200m dash and the 400m dash.

Those members of the URI track team that will not make the trip to Philadelphia will head to Providence to take part in the Brown University Open.
Following this week's competition at the Penn Relays, the Rams will head to Charlotte, N.C. to take part in the Atlantic 10 Championships. The meet runs May 7th-8th.
