NEW YORK CITY - Senior David Kennedy and Sophomore Anthony Davidson shined once again in the 400m dash as Rhody posted numerous personal best times at Friday night's Armory Winter Games.

Rhody dominated the 400m field as Kennedy took the top spot with an IC4A qualifying mark of 48.02 while Davidson was a close third at 48.53. Cameron Cormier made it three in the top-10 as he was ninth at 50.03.

URI also put three in the top-10 in the 200m dash as Kennedy was second with a time of 21.75 and Davidson was seventh with a time of 22.25. Wayne Seaton was ninth at 22.42. Kennedy's time of 21.75 reached the IC4A qualifying standard.

Ronald Woodley also shined for Rhody as he posted season best performances in both the long and triple jumps. Woodley was the top collegiate finisher in the triple with a mark of 14.43m and won the long with a mark of 6.84m. Woodley's mark in the triple reached the IC4A qualifying standard.

In the mile run, James Bloom posted both a season and personal best time of 4:19.33 to finish tenth. Meanwhile, Daniel Hawkins was sixth in the 1000m run with a season and personal best time of 2:32.79.

In the pole vault, freshman James Strawderman finished in a tie for second as he posted an IC4A qualifying mark of 4.80m.

Will Janes had a season-best performance as he won the weight throw event with a mark of 17.74m. Teammate Thaddeus Kusiak was third with a toss of 15.36m. Also in the field events, Andrew Piscitelli finished third in the shot with a mark of 15.40m.

Catch Rhode Island back in action this Friday-Satruday, Feb. 18th-19th for the A-10 Championships. Competition begins at 9 a.m. on both days.
