Men's Track & Field Opens Up The Outdoor Season

BOSTON- The Men's Track & Field team opened up its outdoor season at the Snowflake Classic hosted by Northeastern University on Saturday.

Freshman Michael Bland led the Rams with a first-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.15. Junior Matthew DiMola also took first-place in the 400-meter hurdles with his time of 54.96.

Posting a mark of 13.70 meters (44 feet, 11 ½ inches), junior David Bell took first in the shot put while sophomore Michael Bernardo earned second-place in the hammer throw with a distance of 55.40 (181-09).

The Rams will compete next at the UNC-Charlotte Invitational on Saturday, April 1st at 10 a.m.
