Men's Track & Field Looks To Remain Undefeated As It Hosts Rhody Mega Meet On Saturday

KINGSTON, R.I. - The University of Rhode Island men's indoor track & field team will look to remain undefeated when it hosts the Rhody Mega Meet on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in Mackal Field House.

The meet will be Senior Day as seniors Sean Bramley, Taylor Majewski, Andre' Reid and Luis Rodrigues will be honored, along with the URI track & field parents.

Brown, Central Connecticut, Hartford, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Haven, Quinnipiac and Southern Connecticut State will join the Rams in the nine-team meet.

The defending Atlantic 10 champion Rams are 20-0 after two scoring meets this winter and boast the last three Atlantic 10 Conference Performers of the Week. Reid won the award for setting the school record in the shot put in the BU All-Comers on Jan. 15 and sophomore Ashhad Agyapong has won the last two Performer of the Week awards for his performances in the 200 and 400 dashes at the "Sparks" Sorlien Invitational (Jan. 21) and the Reebok Boston Indoor Games (Jan. 28).
