Men's Track And Field Grab Double Honors After Weekend Performance

KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island sophomore Evan Lima (Warwick R.I.) earned Atlantic 10 Co-Performer of the Week while freshmanAndre Reid (South Windsor, Conn.) earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after their performances in the Northeastern Husky's Winter Carnival this past weekend at the Reggie Lewis Track Center in Boston, Mass.

Lima, a Warwick, R.I. native, earned the honor for his first place performance of 6-09.00 in the high jump this past weekend as well as his fifth place finish in the 55m high hurdles with a time of 8.19.

Reid, who hails from South Windsor, Conn., joined the Rams for the first time this season. Reid threw the shot 16.64 meters and earned the first place spot, a first in his collegiate career.
