Men's Track And Field Final Day At ICAAAA

Princeton, N.J. - The Rhode Island Rams finished out their weekend of IC4A competition with three athletes involved in events.

Junior Chad Washington (Monticello, N.Y.) placed 22nd with a jump of 44-10 1/4 in the triple jump, while sophomore Sean Bramley (New Paltz, N.Y.) threw for 20th in the shot put, reaching 48-02 3/4.

Junior Colin Aina (East Providence, R.I.) the only Rams to qualify for finals competition, placed 2nd in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.24 earning an IC4A runner-up title.

The Rams will take the weekend off while Aina, Bramley, sophomores Jamie Finneran (Kittery, Maine) and Evan Lima (Warwick, R.I.) a long with freshmen Andre Reid (South Windsor, Conn.) and Rob Scales (Middletown, N.J.) as well as senior co-captain Brett Matthews (Scarborough, Maine) prepare for NCAA Regional competition beginning on May 30th at 10:00 a.m. and continuing till Saturday May 31st in Fairfax, Va.
