KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island junior Colin Aina (East Providence, R.I.) was named as an Atlantic 10 Co-Performer of the week after his performances this weekend in the Five-Way hosted by Bucknell.
Aina placed first and qualified for ICAAAA competition in both the 110m high hurdles (14.08) and 400m hurdles (53.16), in addition to marking personal bests in both events. He also placed second in the long jump with his reach of 22-7 3/4.
Aina shares the Atlantic 10 honor with Massachusetts senior Kwesi Frimpong-Boateng (Accra, Ghana).
As a team Rhode Island tied for second in the meet with Bucknell scoring a total of 165 points.
