Men's Track & Field Freshman Fares Well After First Day At Holy Cross Decathlon

Worcester, Mass. - After his first day of competition freshman Dustin Bilbruck (Gillespie, Ill.) has 3183 point and is in fifth place at the Holy Cross Decathlon Invitational on Wednesday.

Bilbruck has competed in five events and still has a full day of competition left.

The results of his first day of competition consisted of 11.94 in the100-meter dash, 21'11" in the long jump, 35'05" in the shot put, 5'08" in the high jump and 53.17 in the 400-meter. He earned 663, 739, 530, 577 and 674 points in each of the events respectively.

Bilbruck's second day of competition consists of the 110-meter high hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw and 1500 meter run.
