2019-20 Men's Basketball Pairings Announced

KINGSTON, R.I. – The Atlantic 10 announced the home and away pairings for the 2019-20 men's basketball season. Rhode Island will play home-and-away series with the top three teams from last year's final standings.

The A-10 schedule will consist of 18 games, with five home-and-away matchups among the conference opponents. Rhode Island will host 2018-19 regular-season champion VCU and 2019 A-10 tournament champion Saint Louis. Also coming to the Ryan Center next season will be Davidson and Dayton - both of which received bids to the NIT a year ago. Duquesne, La Salle, Saint Joseph's, Richmond and Massachusetts round out the teams making the trip to Kingston.

VCU, Davidson and Dayton - the top three teams in the league last year - are among the five home-and-away pairings for Rhode Island. URI also will travel to Saint Joseph's and UMass. The final three road games are at George Mason, Fordham and George Washington. Of those three, George Mason finished fifth in the league, while Fordham and George Washington were the two last-place teams in the final standings.

Rhode Island will play 30 games in the regular season, plus an exhibition game. With 26 individual games plus the four-game Jersey Mike's Jamaica Classic, the Rams will play the maximum number of games possible.
