- Graduated from Cadillac High School, where he served as Class President
- Also served as the Youth Advisory Committee President and was a member of National Honors Society, the Mayor's Youth Council and the Youth Rotary Club
- Earned varsity letters in football, basketball and track & field
- Captained the football and track & field teams
- Earned All-Conference honorable mention as a senior, as well as All-Area honorable mention
- Won a pair of basketball district championship titlesÂ

- Son of Marcus and Renee
- Has an older sister, Isabella, who attends Tulane
- Father, Marcus, played football at Winona State ('97)
- Enjoys golfing, playing video games and traveling
- Favorite team is the Chicago Bears, favorite athlete is Jay Cutler
