- Attended Cedar Grove High School, where he was a member of the football, basketball and lacrosse teams
- Captained the football team as a senior
- Finished his career with 2,700 receiving yards on 150 catches with 29 receiving touchdowns
- Also tallied 630 yards on 80 carries with eight touchdowns for a total of more than 5,000 all-purpose yards through 42 career games
- Three-time First Team All-Conference player
- Set the school records for points in a season (186), receiving touchdowns in a season (21), pass receptions in a season (99), receiving yardage in a season (1,831), kickoff returns in one season (four), pass receptions in a game (14) and receiving yards in a game (256)
- Won state titles in 2021 and 2024
