- Graduated from Bishop Hendricken
- Presidents List and Principals List student, as well as a member of National Honors Society and the National English Honors Society
- Served as a Peer Mentor and Peer Minister, helping to reinstate 'Mission Wednesday' at Hendricken which raised money for charities throughout the state
- Earned varsity letters in lacrosse, track & field and football
- Captained the football and track & field teams as a senior
- Four-time All-Academic football player, earned All-Division and All-State honors in his junior and senior seasons
- Golden Dozen nominee as a senior
- Led the Hawks to three state titlesÂ
