Andrew Ciukurescu joined Joe Trainer's coaching staff in July2013 as the assistant offensive line, tight ends and H-backscoach.

Ciukurescu came to Rhode Island from Delaware Valley College,where he coached for three seasons. He spent the 2012 seasoncoaching the tight ends, and was the assistant offensive line coachduring his first two seasons there.

He spent the spring and summer of 2011 in Franfurt, Germany withthe Frankfurt Universe. Ciukurescu played and coached the offensiveline while also coordinating the running game. The Universe posteda 9-1 record in the German Football League 2, averaging 33 pointsand 339 total offensive yards per game. 

Ciukurescu played at Dickinson, where he was a two-timeAll-Conference selection as a center. He helped the team win the2006 Centennial Conference Championship and the 2007 ECAC SoutheastBowl Championship. 

Ciukerescu earned a degree in American Studies from Dickinson in2010.
