The 2018-19 academic year marks Bobby Stachura's fourth year the University of Rhode Island. He spent two and a half years at URI before accepting a position with the Boston Red Sox organization in the spring of 2017. He returned to Rhody in the fall of 2017 and currently works with the Rhody baseball and football teams.

Stachura is a 2013 graduate of Lasell College, with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While attending the Newton, Mass. college, he enrolled in many clinical sites which afforded him opportunities to work with Boston College's ice hockey program as well as many other high schools and universities in the Greater Boston area. He also was a two-time All-Conference and All-Tournament selection as a four-year member of Lasell's varsity baseball team.

A graduate student in URI's Department of Kinesiology, Stachura is certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and will graduate with a Master’s of Science in May of 2015.

In addition to his work with the Rhody baseball and football teams, he has also worked with the Providence Skychiefs - a newly formed ABA basketball team based in Rhode Island.

Originally form Middletown, Conn., Stachura now lives in Narragansett, R.I.
