Jaclyn Muns joined the Rhode Island staff in January of 2008 after spending the 2006-07 academic year as the Assistant Marketing and Promotions Coordinator at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her responsibilities include the marketing of each URI athletic program, designing marketing and promotional plans that will increase ticket revenue and fan participation; assisting with the planning, coordination, and implementation of in-game promotions; assisting in the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of sponsors and corporate partners; and working with campus leaders to engage the student body to participate and attend URI events. While at UMass, Muns helped develop and implement a marketing and promotions plan for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, field hockey, women's lacrosse, softball, and the Minutemen men's ice hockey team. Prior to her arrival at UMass, Muns spent a year at the Women's Sports Foundation in East Meadow, N.Y. as an Athlete Marketing and Promotions Intern. A native of Shelton, Washington, Muns is a 2005 graduate of Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia (Canada) and possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Leisure Management.
