URI Student Ticket Information
FOOTBALL - New for 2009 SeasonAll home games are played at Meade Stadium located next to the Ryan Center. Full-time URI undergraduate students can present their valid URI ID at either the outdoor ticket booth located at the North East Gate on the East Stand side (this entrance is located off West Alumni and the Burnside Dorm)or at the South Gate entrance located on the scoreboard end of the field. 1500 seats are reserved for URI Students for all home football games. Tickets are distributed on a first-come first-served basis. Doors open one hour prior to the games and the ticket booth remains open until the end of halftime. Student Seating for URI football is General Admission by Section. Student seating for football is located in Section 1 and 2 in the East Stands. Students may pick up their game ticket by showing their URI ID at the outside football ticket booth at the North East Gate or the South Gate 1 hour prior to kickoff on game day only.
URI students with a Valid URI Student ID can come to the Main Ticketing Box Office (Located off Plains Road and West Alumni Avenue) during the specified pick up times to claim their one (1) free ticket (Free student tickets are capped at 1500 and are distributed on a first-come first-served basis). Each ticket will be sold into each individual URI student account. Students will be allowed to pick up tickets once for each game. Student ID's will be verified and checked against the URI student database for verification. Tickets are available during the specified pickup times. Students must come to the Main Ticketing Box Office located off Plains Road and West Alumni Avenue to pick up tickets during pick up times. The Box office is open Monday - Friday 10AM - 6PM as well as Saturday from 10AM - 2PM. At the end of the designated pick up times, any unclaimed student tickets will be opened up for sale to the public. URI students will still be eligible for free tickets after the end of the pickup time, provided the student allotment and game is not sold out when they come to claim their tickets.
The majority of student tickets for men's basketball games are general admission by section. The URI student sections are located in sections 101-102, 108-109, 201, 209, 301 and 309. Tickets in sections 101-102, 108-109 and 201 and 209 are general admission by section. Students are allowed to sit in any seat in the Section that they have a ticket for. Sections 301 and 309 are reserved seating and students with those tickets must sit in the assigned seat. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with the best seats being distributed first. Tickets will be distributed until the end of the assigned pickup time, or until the supply of tickets is exhausted. On game day students may enter the Ryan Center via the main/general entrances on either side of the Ryan Center. Doors open 1 hour prior to game time. You may at any time be asked to present your valid URI ID along with your student ticket. To avoid long entrance lines please plan to arrive early.
Please Note: Should you choose to wait until the night of the game to pick up tickets to that evenings game please be prepared for the potential of long lines at the student windows. Starting 90 minutes prior to tip off on a game night you will only be allowed to pick up a ticket for that evenings game and not another game so please plan accordingly. Thank you and Go Rhody!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Only Valid URI students may use student tickets to attend a game.
URI Student ID's will be checked and validated at the time of pickup. Students must have a valid working ID in order to receive a free ticket.
Students must bring their valid student ID to the game and may be required to provide a valid ID with their game ticket to gain entrance into each game.
Student tickets are to be used by registered URI Students Only.
To ensure your seat to the game it is strongly encouraged that students pick up their game day tickets during the specified ticket distribution period. This will give students the best opportunity for the best seats as well as avoiding potentially long lines on the day of the game.
All home games are played at the Ryan Center. Full-time URI undergraduate students should present their URI ID at either the Main Box Office located off the RAM parking lot on the North side of the building or the South Box Office located on the south side of the building next to the Tootell/Keaney/Mackal Complex. After receiving their ticket they may enter at the main entrances on either side of the building. 1500 seats are reserved for URI Students.

Students may pick up their Women's Basketball game ticket by showing their URI ID at the Ryan Center Box Office the day of the game only.
All home games are played at URI Soccer Complex, located adjacent to The Ryan Center. Any full-time URI undergraduate student will receive complimentary admittance by presenting his or her Student ID Card to a URI ticket taker located at the entrance gates to the URI Soccer Complex.
The gates open one hour prior to game time and remains open until the end of halftime. All seating is general admission.
Men's and Women's s Student soccer tickets are available starting one hour before game time at the soccer complex entrance gate only.
URI offers free admission for all regular season home Olympic Sports events. These include Baseball, Rowing, Softball, Swimming & Diving, Tennis, Track & Field and Volleyball. For any post-season A-10 or NCAA events hosted by URI there will be admission charged. All seats are general admission. |
