Zuidhof Selected A-10 Volleyball Honorable-Mention Honoree

Nov. 15, 2006

KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island senior Ivy Zuidhof was named an Atlantic 10 Volleyball Honorable-Mention All-Conference selection while also garnering All-Academic Team recognition, announced Wednesday.

The senior from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada finished 10th in the A-10 in hitting percentage (.301) and also leads the Rams in blocks (80) and blocks per game (.73), while finishing second in kills (275).

Zuidhof owns a 3.87 grade point average as a biological science major. A six-time Dean's list selection, she has been named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll honors three times. Zuidhof is also a member of Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Sigma Phi national honor societies as well as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She was selected a first-team Academic All-District selection last week and moves on to the national ballot where she will receive consideration for Academic All-America status.
