Established a career-high in blocks with six to go along with 15 kills at Duquesne (10/7)... Tallied 18 kills and six blocks against Duquesne (11/3)... 15 kills, three digs and three blocks against Providence (10/13)... Posted 13 kills and four digs against Dartmouth (9/15)... 10 kills, three digs and three blocks against Colgate (8/25)... 10 kills, four digs and two blocks against Fairleigh Dickinson (9/1)... Personal/High School: Born December 13, 1988 ... daughter of Cheryl Hill and Doug Newberg ... has four siblings - Justin, Jordan, Brenden, and Whitney ... four-year volleyball letterwinner at Riverside ... finished career with 987 kills, 449 digs, 232 blocks, 84 aces and 18 assists ... two-year captain Team MVP (2005 & 2006) ... helped school to state playoffs for the first time in school history as a senior, totaling 481 kills, 239 digs, 78 blocks, 41 aces and 13 assists; as a result, earned first team all-league and all-state honors ... first team all-league in 2005, when she helped Riverside earned third place in the district ... helped school to districts in 2004 and earned second team all-league honors ... recipient of The Pounder Award and The Citizenship Award in 2006 ... also played two years of basketball and one year of both softball and track ... enjoys horseback riding and spending time with friends and family ... accounting major at URI.
