The Rhode Island tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Atlantic 10 rival Fordham on Saturday afternoon at the URI Tennis Complex. Fordham swept doubles play and went on to win four-of-six singles matches.

After being edged, 8-6, in doubles, freshmen Nithila Asokaraj and Karolina Wojciak bounced back and won their singles matches at the fifth and sixth positions, respectively.
