Rams Sweep Weekend Play in Philadelphia; Down Saint Joseph's, 4-3

How It Happened
Rhode Island swept weekend play in Philadelphia with a 4-3 victory at Saint Joseph's on Saturday afternoon.

The Rams earned the doubles point by taking wins at the #2 and 3 spots and jumped out to a 3-0 lead after Mihaela Codreanu dominated at #1 singles, 6-1, 6-0 and Ariel Haber cruised to a 6-3, 6-0 win at #6.

The Hawks would rally, winning the next three singles matches at #2, #4, and #5, but Rhody would seal the win as Rachel Smilansky rallied from a set down to come back at #3 singles.

The win is Rhody's third straight - and second consecutive victory over an Atlantic 10 foe.
