How It Happened
Rhode Island was swept 7-0 on Sunday against Connecticut.  The match was played at the East Hartford Tennis Club.

The Rams were without three members of its lineup - Rachel Smilansky, Taylor Holden, and Jordan Rucks - due to illness.
