Women's Swimming Ends Day Three at A-10 Championships in Seventh-Place

2008 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Day Three Results Get Acrobat Reader

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The University of Rhode Island women's swimming & diving team finished day three at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championships in eighth-place with a point total of 158.

Freshman Lillian Falconer (Chicago, Ill.) continued to lead the Rams at the A-10's, this time posting a second-place finish in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:26.57. Meanwhile, senior Caitlin Regan (Cranston, R.I.) swam to a 14th-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing with a time of 59.02.

Senior Cassandra Mizia (Manchester, Conn.) placed 15th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.22) while freshman Samantha Veccia (Medford, N.Y.) placed 14th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.13).

In the 400-yard medley relay, the Rams' team of Regan, Veccia, Falconer, and Mizia placed seventh with a time of 3:56.89.

The A-10 Championships conclude on Saturday.
