Day Four Results

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Rhode Island swimming and diving team concluded competition Saturday evening at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championships. The four-day event was being held at the Flickinger Aquatics Center.

Rhody finished the meet 10th with 157 points.

Sophomore Kinsey Tarbell (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) highlighted the day for Rams as she scored six points for Rhody while competing in the 100-yard freestyle. Tarbell finished 11th as she clocked a time of 52.33.

Richmond took home the women's team title for the eighth-consecutive season.

Fordham claimed second with 549.5 points followed by third place Duquesne's 404.5. The Dukes were followed by Massachusetts (398.5), La Salle (388.5), St. Bonaventure (340), Xavier (284) Saint Louis (197) and George Washington (190).
