2008 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Day Two Results Get Acrobat Reader

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The University of Rhode Island women's swimming & diving team set two varsity records on day two of the 2008 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championships Thursday afternoon in New York. The Rams wrapped up competition on Thursday in seventh-place with 109 points.

Freshman Lillian Falconer (Chicago, Ill.) set a new school record in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:05.26. On Wednesday, she established a new varsity record in the 200-yard freestyle.

The Rams 200-yard freestyle relay team also set a varsity record, finishing with a record time of 1:37.45. Falconer joined freshman Alexandra Lalli (Middletown, R.I.) and seniors Maria Cieslewski (Watertown, Conn.) and Cassandra Mizia (Manchester, Conn.) on the squad.

In the one-meter dive, sophomore Haley Johnson (East Longmeadow, Mass.) placed eighth with a score of 334.10.
