Did not compete for most of the season but still posted several good times in her Breaststroke events... In the 10/29 meet vs. UMaine she clocked in at 1:14.45 in the 100 Breaststroke and 2:40.74 in the 200 Breaststroke... She improved her times to 1:13.73 in the 100 Breastsroke (12/3 Harold Anderson Invitational), and 2:35.90 in the 200 Breaststroke (2/4 vs. Boston College).

Groton-Dunstable Regional High School:
Competed for the tennis and cross country teams in high school...Member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student.

Kelly Beth Whelan was born on April 13, 1985 to David and Denise Whelan...Currently a nursing major...Worked as a lifeguard from 1999 to 2003.
