Women's Swimming

2010-11 (Senior): Placed second in the 200-yard freestyle and won the 100-yard freestyle against Maine... Won the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:01.47 and was a part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that took first place at Springfield... Helped the Rams to a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay at New Hampshire... Won the 200m freestyle at Providence with a time of 2:11.04... Helped both the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams to top finishes at the Harold Anderson Meet... Won the 50-yard freestyle at Bryant in a time of 25.25... Apart of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that took first at the R.I. Invitational... Won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 54.01 versus Wagner... A member of the 200-yard medley relay team that placed sixth in a time of 1:45.49 at the Atlantic 10 Championship.... Helped Rhody to a sixth place finish in the 200-yard medley relay at the Atlantic 10 Championships... Also a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that finished fourth in a time of 7:31.05 at the A-10 meet... Closed out the meet with an 11th place finish in the 100-yard backstroke.

2009-10 (Junior): Took the top spot in the 200 yard freestyle (1:57.35), 50 yard freestyle (25.34), 100 yard freestyle (54.09) and was part of the winning 400 yard freestyle relay team (3:36.06) at Maine (10/31)... Took second place in the 50 yard freestyle (25.19) against Providence (11/7)...Helped the 200 yard medley relay team take first place (1:52.66) also took first place in the 200 yard freestyle (1:56.23) as well as second place in the 100 yard freestyle (54.77) against Springfield (11/14)... placed fourth in the 200 yard freestyle (1:57.64) and 100 yard freestyle (54.18) against Fordham and Duquesne (11/21)... Apart of the first place 200 yard freestyle relay team (1:40.43)... took second place in the 100 yard back stroke (59.78) and first place in the 100 yard freestyle (54.15) at the Harold Anderson Invite (12/5).

2008-09 (Sophomore): Finished first in three events in the opening meet of the season against Maine (11/2) in the 200 (1:56.44), 100 (53.88), and 50 yard freestyle... Led the Rams to victory in the URI Invitational (1/16) finishing second in the 200 yard freestyle (1:58.17) and a pair of third-place finishes in the 500 yard freestyle (5:18.16) and the 100 yard Freestyle (54.81)...Was also a part of the 400 yard freestyle relay which finished first... Finished fourth in the Atlantic 10 Championships in the 200 yard freestyle (1:52.13).

2007-08 (Freshman): Finished third in 200 yard freestyle (2:00.06), second in the 100 yard freestyle (55.54) and second on the 400 yard relay team (3:43.10) against Maine (10/27) ... finished second on 200 yard medley relay team (1:55.51) against PC (10/31) ... placed second in 200 yard freestyle (2:01.03) and second in 500 yard freestyle (5:22.39) against Springfield (11/10) ... took seventh in the 200 yard freestyle (1:58.77), sixth in 500 yard freestyle (5:19.26) and third on the 400 yard freestyle relay team (3:41.13) in dual meet against Fordham and Duquesne (11/17) ... finished second on the 400 yard medley relay team (4:05.65), second in 500 yard freestyle (5:13.78), second on 200 yard freestyle relay (1:41.70), second in 200 yard freestyle (1:58.75), third in the 100 yard freestyle (55.47) and first on the 400 yard freestyle relay team (3:38.69) in Harold Anderson Invitational (11/30-12/1) ... took fourth in the 200 yard freestyle (2:00.50) and fifth in the 500 yard freestyle (5:22.48) in the R.I. Invitational ... finished third in the 200 yard freestyle (1:58.61) against CGA (12/8) ...placed third in the 200 yard freestyle (2:00.50), third in the 100 yard freestyle (55.38), eighth in the 500 yard freestyle (5:29.51) and first on the 200 yard freestyle relay team (1:42.09) in dual meet against Drexel and Connecticut (1/26) ... finished third in the 200 yard freestyle (1:59.19), fourth in the 100 yard freestyle (54.96) and second on the 400 yard freestyle relay team. (3:39.27) against BC (2/1).

High School: Lettered in swimming at Cape Elizabeth High School while participating at Coastal Maine Aquatics... Captained her CMA team as a senior... An all-american and member of the honors society.

Personal: Born October 12, 1989... Daughter of Charlie and Antoinette Tarbell... Has one sister, Melissa... Enjoys swimming, music and singing... Majoring in women's studies at URI.
