2005-2006 (Sophomore):
Started off the 05-06 season with an 11:20.03 in the 1000 Freestyle, 5:31.72 in the 500 Freestyle, and 2:22.28 in the 200 Individual Medley... At the Harold Anderson Invitational (12/3) she placed seventh in both the 500 Freestyle (5:30.15) and 1000 Freestyle (season best time of 11:08.68)... She also placed tenth in the 400 I.M. with a season best time of 4:55.03... At the R.I. Invitational on 1/14 she placed seventh in the 1000 Freestyle (11:19.14), ninth in the 400 IM (5:00.54), and tenth in the 500 Freestyle (5:34.85)... At February's Atlantic 10 Championships she had season best times in the 500 Freestyle (5:20.85) and 1650 Freestyle (18:48.32)... She also competed in the 400 I.M. and clocked in at 4:56.79.

Shelton High School:
Graduated in 2004 where she was a four-year varsity member of the swimming, softball, and track teams. Was the captain of the swimming and track teams. Named the most outstanding freshman award her freshman year, received the Fran Potocky dedication award her sophomore year, received the coach's award her junior year, and was MVP her senior season. Also was a member of the National Honor Society, the Honor Roll, Student Council Representative, and a member of the Interact Club.

Born Ashley Taylor Recklet on 10/8/85 in Bridgeport, C.T. Has two brothers named Chris and Shane. Majoring in Psychology with the goal of becoming a Child Psychologist. Has worked as a Lifeguard as well as a babysitter. Enjoys Skiing and Snowboarding.
