Women's Swimming

2011-12 (Senior): At the opening meet at Maine, won the 200-yard freestyle relay(1:43.87), earned fifth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.16), and sixth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:16.10)... In Rhody's eighth win against Springfield, took third in the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.52) and fourth in both the 200-yard backstroke (2:18.22) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:56.24)... Against New Hampshire, finished third in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:47.45)... Earned third in the 200-yard backstroke (2:15.92) against Providence in the PINK OUT... At the Harold Anderson Invitational, placed seventh in the 200-yard back (2:11.59)... At Wagner, finished third in the 200-yard medley relay (1:54.51).

2010-11 (Junior): A part of the 8x50-yard medley relay team that took third with a time of 4:03.36 versus Maine... Helped 400-yard medley relay team post a time of 4:02.06 at Springfield... Helped Rhody win the 200 SC meter medley relay in a time of 2:08.21 at Providence... Placed eighth with a time of 1:01.53 in the 100-yard backstroke at the Harold Anderson Meet... Apart of the 8x50-yard medley relay team that posted a time of 4:03.36 at Bryant... Helped the 400-yard medley relay team to a second place finish in a time of 4:08.22 versus Wagner... Placed sixth in the 50-yard freestyle at Vermont.

2009-10 (Sophomore): Took third in the 200 yard backstroke (2:14.77) in the season-opener at Maine (10/31)... Apart of the second place 200 yard medley relay team (1:55.18) and took fourth in the 200 yard freestyle (2:06.51) and added a second place in the 200 yard backstroke (2:17.72) against Providence (11/7)...Had a pair of third place finishes in the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.41) and 200 yard backstroke (2:18.23) against Springfield (11/14).

2008-09 (Freshman): Was part of the 200 yard medley relay team, which finished in the top 10 in the URI Invitational (1/16)... Posted top 10 finishes in three events at the Harold Anderson Invitational (12/5) in the 500 yard freestyle (5:25.87), 200 yard freestyle relay (1:42.06) and the 200 yard medley relay (1:57.31)... Turned in a fourth-place finish in the 500 yard freestyle against Springfield College (11/15).

High School: Lettered in swimming and lacrosse at Norwalk High School... A two-time All-American, All-State and All-ECIAC selection... Owns the 200 free relay state record (2008)... Captained her swim team as a senior.

Personal: Born December 28, 1990... Daughter of Arley Lopez and Francis Comaello... Has one sister, Lynette... Enjoys longboarding, video games and food... Lists the New England Patriots as her favorite team... Majoring in sociology.
