2011-12 (FRESHMAN): In Rhody's season-opening meet at Maine, won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:28.27), earned second in the 200-yard IM (2:15.57) and third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.10)... in Rhode Island's eighth straight win against Springfield, took first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.01) and second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:53.80) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:29.22)... Against New Hampshire, placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:29.72) and earned third in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:47.45)... Earned second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.05) against Providence in the PINK OUT... At the Harold Anderson Invitational, won the 400-yard medley relay (3:56.16), placed second in the 200-yard IM (2:11.82), and third in the 200-yard breast (2:26.82)... Against Bryant, earned second in the 100-yd. breaststroke (1:09.42) and the 200-yd. IM (2:17.74), and third in the 200-yd. medley relay (1:53.67)... Named Performer of the Meet at Wagner after winning both the 200-yard breaststroke (2:28.46) and the 200-yard IM (2:14.43), placing second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.89), and third in the 200-yard medley relay (1:54.51)... Against Vermont, won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.82), and took second in both the 200-yard medley relay (1:52.54) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.98)... Against Dartmouth and Northeastern, earned second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:26.83) and fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.96)... In the Atlantic 10 Championships, took seventh in both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.45) and as part of Rhody's 400-yard medley relay team (3:51.62). In the 200-yard breaststroke, swam 2:25.12 for 13th. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended The Latin School of Chicago... Swam four years, earning four varsity letters... Ran track and field for three years, earning three varsity letters... Coached in swimming by Celeste Laub-Norman... Captained swimming in 2010-11... Received All-American honors in 2008... MVP honors in 2008, 2009 and 2010... Broke 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay records in 2008... State qualifier three years in-a-row... State qualifier one year for track... PERSONAL: Born April 25, 1993... Daughter of Joe and Dari Andruzzi... Father is a Chicago Police Officer and mother is a Registered Dietitian... Has two sisters, Melissa and Rebecca... Melissa attends the University of San Diego (2014) where she swims... Enjoys running, scrapbooking, learning Chinese and traveling... Favorite athlete is Ryan Lochte and favorite team is the Chicago White Sox... Studied at Zheijang University in Hangzhou, China for one month during the summer of 2011 and plans on going for two months in the summer of 2012... Majoring in chinese and chemistry.
