Swimming and Diving Concludes Competition at ECAC Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - Rhode Island freshmen Jennifer Lopez and Katie Mangano wrapped-up competition Sunday at the 2009 ECAC Swimming and Diving Championships.
Lopez (Norwalk, Conn.) and Mangano (Westerly, R.I.) competed on Saturday as they both swam in the 100-yard backstroke. Mangano placed 19th in the event, finishing a time of 59.83, while Lopez took 30th as she posted a clocked a 1:02.37.
On Sunday, Mangano timed a 55.28 in the 100 yd freestyle to place 33rd. In the 200 yd backstroke, Lopez finished 26th, recording a time of 2:14.04.
