Series Finale Against Fordham Canceled

KINGSTON, R.I. - Sunday's series final between Rhode Island and Fordham has been canceled due to frigid weather conditions.

With a feels like temperature of 28 degrees and wind gusts of up to 17 miles per hour projected for game time, the teams will not play. According to league rules, the feels like temperature must be at least 32 degrees in order for a game to begin. 

Rhode Island's next action will be a non-conference doubleheader against Maine on Wednesday, April 18 at the URI Softball Complex. First pitch will be at 2:30 p.m.
