How it Happened
Despite scoring in the first four minutes of play, Rhode Island dropped its second game of the season against Bryant Thursday afternoon.

Brooke Osmanski took advantage of a defensive miscommunication to get the Rams on the board for a quick 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs answered on a Lexi Kraemer goal assisted by Arin Smalls and the teams remained knotted for the remainder of the half.

The Rams had opportunities to score in the second half - including a header by Rebecca D'Anna - but Bryant goalkeeper Meghan Dalton made four of her seven stops in the second half.

The Bulldog's second goal came late in the half after Haley Brennan saved an initial shot by Cayla D'Amico. D'Amico used the rebound to get a shot just over Brennan's reach and Rhody could not answer in time, taking the eventual 2-1 loss.
