KINGSTON, R.I. -- The University of Rhode Island women's soccer staff will hold two Summer clinics for high school students this coming July and August.
The clinics will place a heavy emphasis on professional player development, and all teams will be coached and trained by a member of the URI women's soccer Staff.
The goal of the clinic is to develop soccer talent in the state of Rhode Island in a fun, competitive environment and to offer a high-level soccer clinic for high school teams in preparation for their competitive high school season.
Two high school teams will train and compete during each clinic. Each team will train separately for the majority of each session with a University of Rhode Island Coach. Each session will conclude with a controlled scrimmage.
Each clinic will run three hours a day for four days. There are morning sessions (9 a.m.-Noon) and evening sessions (5-8 p.m.) available. Two different high school teams will participate in each session. If you are an individual looking to participate in these w/o your high school team, you can still participate! Let us know what clinic works for you, and if there is room, we'll place you in it!
