Rowing to Hold Informational Meetings for Walk-On Student-Athletes

The 2008 Atlantic 10 Champion University of Rhode Island Women's Rowing Team is inviting walk-on athletes to try-out for the team this fall. No rowing experience is required.

URI Women's Rowing is a Division 1 Varsity sport. Novice athletes will learn all aspects of rowing this fall, compete in several races throughout the year, and be eligible to be invited to the team's winter training trip in Deland, FL.

Interested athletes should attend one of the informational meetings on either September 4 at 4:30 pm or September 5 at 3:30 pm. Both meetings will be held in Room 318 of the Memorial Union.
