2005-2006:
Coxed the Varsity 4 boat that placed third at the Yankee Cup Regatta and fourth at the Atlantic 10 Championships... Also coxed the V4 to a first place finish in the petite final at the ECAC Metro Division Championship...

2004-2005:
Became a coxswain after injuries sidelined her from rowing... Coxed the Second Varsity 8 boat that placed fourth at the Yankee Cup, second at the Resolute Cup, Ninth at the Knecht Cup, and third at the A-10 Championships.

2003-2004:
Rowed in the Lightweight 8 and helped her team to a fifth place finish at the Knecht Cup, and two first place finishes at A-10's and the ECAC Metro Championships.

2002-2003:
Helped lead the novice team to several top finishes in the fall of '02... Did not row in the spring racing season.

High School:
Was a member of the rowing team that were NY State Champions in the Club 4 in 2000 and 2002.

Personal:
Marissa Owens is the daughter of John and Elizabeth Owens... She has one sister, Alexandra... Is a member of several academic honors societies at URI including the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Distinguished Scholars Program.
